When Dave came to our house, the garage looked like a warehouse explosion. After having the ceiling racks were installed, we were able to get the boxes of office material off the side shelves and any horizontal surface. We put all the camping equipment, Christmas decor and lawn chairs on the other shelf. That left more space to organize and see what else we could get rid of! They have inspired me to start spring cleaning early-I have discovered a lot of stuff that I gave away, threw out, or stored on my new racks.
